As President and Founder of Booker Training Associates, Doug is a professional  Facilitator, Change Agent, Coach and Organizational Developer.  Booker Training Associates is a business that Doug began after a successful military career, retiring as a Major from the Army in 1992.  The idea for his work evolved as Doug began realizing the ‘challenge’ facing organizations in managing (leading) people.   Ultimately he focuses on organizational behavior, learning,  professional facilitation, coaching, assisting with change, and helping with what he calls your People-System
The 'Associates' are the partners he sometimes brings to the process, depending on the situation and assessed needs.  He has counterparts in all aspects of organizational dynamics:  HR, Operations, Quality, Finance, Marketing, etc. 


A strong believer in the need for continued learning…he has earned a Masters degree in Management.  Doug preaches to ‘Never Stop Learning’; personally completing an Executive MBA program, as well as Lean Business/Manufacturing certification.  This knowledge-base and experience, combined with his natural sense of humor and understanding of human relations, makes learning enjoyable.   He possesses a unique ability to relate and challenge people’s thinking and behaviors;  derived from experiences gained in working with hundreds of organizational leaders and key players, gaining their trust and achieving results.


He has worked with a variety of industries and teaches with four different graduate-level universities.  He primarily focuses on adult-learning organizations, in both regular classroom as well as Online facilitation.  Along with his teaching and consulting work, he writes and distributes an article series called Leadership Moments along with authoring his book series - Leadership Conversations.

Les Hyde has an extensive leadership background in customer service and IT operations.  He has worked in diverse organizations including several private companies, two Fortune 500 companies, and the United States Air Force. He holds a B.S. in Information Systems from Park University, an MBA from University of Phoenix, numerous technical certifications and is a Six Sigma Greenbelt.  Les is passionate about the customer experience, and achieving sustainable and repeatable results through People, Process and Technology.  He has served on several non-profit boards and volunteers his time to helping others.

Terrell L. McTyer (aka Terrell L) was born and raised in Kansas City, MO.  He is the founder, CEO, and Lead Strategist of M/I Promotions and Marketing Excellence (www.MIPromotions.com). M/I is a full service marketing agency which also provides eblasts, promotions, social media marketing, branding, design, business development, product sales, event marketing and management, public relations, advertising, and booking for individuals, businesses, and ministries across the nation. 

 

Terrell L has a Business Management/Marketing Degree from the University of Phoenix.  His initial degree work was in Architectural Engineering/Construction Management at the University of Kansas. While in college he involved himself in many organizations including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the National Society of Black Engineers.  He also studied voice at the University of Missouri - Kansas City Conservatory of Music. Terrell has sang in many music groups, performed in operas and music theater, and written and recorded countless songs.  He also founded the music ministry Called Out of Darkness (www.CalledOutOfDarkness.com)

Terrell L is an ordained Elder of the Gospel, music recording artist, serial entrepreneur, counselor, and community leader.  Above all, he is loving husband and father to four beautiful children.
