GREAT 8 LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES

CREATE

Creating is surely what leaders do; leadership is about well thought out development, improvement, making things better and yes, even creating.  Creating new ways or improving old ways takes initiative and a unique focus on not accepting where we are, but striving for better.  Leaders who create are facilitating change; and involve others through strong trusting open relationships, so they can help in creativity.  There is always a better way, a better product, a better system and this includes creating new cultures and mindsets.  True leaders challenge, push, and ultimately make different dynamics…always!  This creativity includes procedures, systems and processes for sure; but also the development of improved people, teams and entire organizations as well.  Visioning is the first step of creating something new;  leadership is the spark and dynamic that makes a vision the new reality.  Creating requires many dynamics, skills and tools to make new visions occur.  When a leader learns and skillfully develops the other seven here, of the great eight concepts, creating becomes just a way of life successfully achieved.
