GREAT 8 LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES

DEMONSTRATE

All agree that leaders that are real leaders model all the good stuff.  The Great Eight concepts are all demonstrated routinely in all they do, with every one.  Leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of life by the true leader.  He/she is professional, always teaching, developing relations, making things better and eliminating the bad stuff at all times.  The charismatic inspiring leader is the one who has no trouble living high values and morals, while going about doing the job of leadership.  What is practiced is the same as what he/she has preached.  Respect of others no matter what is paramount and helping others to do the same is pursued relentlessly.  The real true leader also demonstrates human-ness, being quite okay with being wrong and freely admitting so.  Letting others see who they really are is of utmost importance and those fine lines many leaders believe cannot be crossed, are crossed easily by the strong, respected and principled-leader.  It is not about winning or losing, but doing it right; and how we play the game is important and modeled continuously.  Fixing problems systemically always takes priority over finding someone to blame.  The always modeling leader creates a true risk-free environment by visioning and making the Great Eight concepts to be a way of life.  To him or her, the real leader we all want to follow – people are absolutely always the most valued and respected resource!
